i realized that i never really introduced myself. my name is audrey and i live in a little town smack-dab in the middle of michigan.

now the only way to sum me up is in third person (:

audrey has fazes and fads, obsessions and addictions. she isn't ever committed to something unless she completely and totally loves it.
she has a bad mouth and crummy skin and tells herself to work out everyday. eating is her favorite hobby and she's usually eating or drinking something.
she listens to everyone with a particularly closed mind and her attention isn't easily held. she's ridiculously blunt and said to be a wise ass. sarcasm is her tool of the trade, you'll rarely find someone who uses it so often.
she lives for quoting movies and books; that being one of her favorite hobbies.
you'll never find her talking to herself but she sings to herself frequently. there's never a song not stuck in her head.
she dislikes television very much, the only exception being 'friends', bones, and flapjack.
she has five beautiful best friends, the only people in the whole world she can trust.
she's pro choice, for gay marriage, and hates politics with a passion.
she's a harry potter and star trek geek.

had enough ? au revoir, mon amis.

Ronald Bilius Weasley.

Harry Potter is one of the greatest addictions to the beautiful world of fiction, for many, many reasons. One of those reasons is the character first introduced in a train station, seemingly average to our hero; Red hair, tall, lanky, freckles...But we knew. We knew he would become something larger than that...in no time, too. We were proved right by the end of the novel Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. We were shown his unbelievable loyalty and bravery. Immediately we could see that he was the heart of his, and his two best friends trio. We knew he was as important as even the Boy Who Lived.

"Dumbledore understood Ron's importance in the trio. He wasn't the most skilled, or the most intelligent, but he held them together; his humour and his good heart were essential." --JK Rowling

Lulu: Do you think Dumbledore was a little more fond of Ron than either Ron or Harry believed?
J.K. Rowling: Yes, I do. Through Harry's account of Ron, and from reports of the professors who taught Ron, Dumbledore understood Ron better than Ron ever knew, and liked him, too.

so, today, i'm in my seminar class, right ? sitting in my cold desk, book open, iPod on, ignoring everyone around me...the usual. and i, very suddenly, feel this sadness sweep over me. this inexplainable, gut-wrenching gloom. my throat gets a big lump in it, my eyes sting, my breathing becomes shallow and uneven...i feel horrible. i wonder...am i depressed ? is this what happens to clinically depressed folks ? sudden, overwhelming greif, with no reason behind it...
maybe you guys could help me out.

*harry potter reference ! is this how you would feel when dementors are around ? yuck.

while on my sunday morning run, i started to muse about harry potter and things of that sort within the safety of light pondering and wonderings. but, as i turned the corner of walker st, i became bored with the harry potter norm and starting writing myself a little book. by the time i crossed town and started back, i had gone through at least three chapters of a harry potter fan fiction insanity.
just then, whilst approaching a curb, i have a ron and hermione "fluff" scene, where ron buys hermione a lovely little bracelet, and they kiss a little bit; and being the disturbingly nerdy harry potter fan i am, i whoop a bit, add an extra skip to my run and -- insert disaster.
i trip on that damned curb and tumble down onto the street where i didn't notice there were three of our native skater, pot smoking "dudes" slowing to a stop at the intersection. i then scream a bit, hit my chin on the back of one of said dude's skateboard, roll over sideways and groan in pain.
following the ruffly two second accident was a chorus of barking laughter. i curse inwardly and lift my head, then my torso, then myself back onto my feet. the one, kinder skater asks if i'm alright (through snickers), and instead of responding, my face grows hot and i sputter out, "Mh-s, pah-d, ergh, ugh-s." ...or something along those lines. being the crazy flirt i am (sense the sarcasm), i flash a sheepish grin, fix my ponytail, and run for dear life.
in the midst of this humiliating accident, i completely forget the plot-line of my harry potter tale and return home grumpy, bruised, scraped, and head empty of any ingenious stories. lovely.

forks weather, much ? urgh...

major storms sweeping across michigan today. it was lovely this morning when i left with my best friends/teammates to my soccer tournament in williamston. we got through our first match; when we killed the eastern 8-0. the weather was fine, wind was a bitch, clouds out in the distance.
so, we enter into the second half of our second game against williamston, 1-0....them. whatever -- anyway, the weather took an extremely quick turn for the worst. rain, wind, clouds...the whole lot.
nine minutes and so left on the clock, rain is picking up....GOAL ! we tie. just then, the rain like, stops. and...FUCK...thunder.
we waited a good 15 minutes when another boom rang out. then all hell broke out. the rain was merciless. two of my other teammates and myself got ahead with our soccer bags in tote and ran through the downpour to the highschool, just up the hill from the fields. we had to check 6 doors on two seperate sides of the building before the three of us found the entrance.
we thought we were unlucky for having to test out the doors, but then we hear a crack of lightning and the sky darkens a couple shades, and the rain becomes even worse...we didn't think it was possible. and we see the rest of our team running with our coach like mad to the doors we went in.
we eventually had to sit around damp, smelly, and restless for about 40 minutes before the coach informed us that the tournament was called.
we won overall points. nine, to be exact. williamston had six, eastern had zero, and the other team, of which we never played nor can i remember, had like four, i believe.go us. st johns redwings (: 7 - 1. suck it.

the deathly hallows, man.

well, first of all. seen a couple set pictures, one more official-ish, icons, and then very recent pictures of the golden trio and i'm so incredibly excited. oh my god...rupert and daniel look so...manly (: GAH.
anyone else seen the pictures of ron and hermione at the wedding ?!! GAHHHHH :D

anyway; i read the seventh again...just finished it again. and i'm making progress.
at this point, i only cried at harry walking to his death, fred dying, and the end of the book (not the epilogue) !!
i didn't cry at lupin, tonks, hedwig, or snapes death !! and my tears dried up while reading the epilogue.
that's pretty amazing. maybe if i read it...another two times, i think and i'll stop crying at harry's death...
nope, it's doubtful. i'm remembering reading it and i'm crying.

how the HELL am i going to manage the movie ?!! oh, look, i'm crying again. OH. now i'm picturing daniel radcliffe portraying it and i'm hyperventilating.

i'll see you later (:

audrey has realized some things today;

all harry potter related, of course...

-my hair is disturbingly similar to emma watsons. i could've said hermiones but it's more emma's portrayal of hermiones hair. haha.
-while i was cropping a picture of ronald and hermione to put on a set at polyvore.com (it's not done, i might post it on here) i was cropping around rons, well, ruperts, respectively, beautiful hair and was contemplating whether or not to cut out this stray lock of red and realized how much i liked, no, adored his hair. i was sad when i virtually cut that lock off.
-one of the reasons for liking ron so much was his long nose. i find honkin' snozzes to be handsome.
-j.k. wrote the childrens book mentioned in the seventh (which i own and read frequently), so i think she should make more like that. you know, harry potter related novels, not pertaining to harry.
-on that note, she needs to write a separate series titled, "the marauders". get my drift ?
-the weasley men must be fantastic in bed. except percy...no, i bet he's amazing, too.
